Usage Advice & Power Margin
Master Your Power Usage
Always operate within the Green "Optimal Use" zone. Keep your total appliance wattage under [1100W].
Note: Devices with motors (like mini-fridges) require a massive initial surge. For highly sensitive electronics or large compressors, please upgrade to our Nova Pure Sine Wave series.
Real Rating vs General Inverters
Why Choose Grennova?
Unlike generic inverters that boast "2200W" but fail at 1000W, Grennova guarantees a smooth, stable, and tested output. Our dual-circuit boards and premium capacitors prevent messy waveforms and potential overheating.
FAQ
Q1: Why does my multimeter show only 80V-100V (or 180V-200V) instead of 110V (or 220V)?
A: This is absolutely normal for a Modified Sine Wave inverter. Standard cheap multimeters cannot accurately measure this waveform. To get the correct 110V/220V reading, you MUST use a multimeter equipped with the "True RMS" (Root Mean Square) function.
Q2: The red light is on, it's beeping, and there is no power. Is it broken?
A: No, your inverter's safety shield has activated to protect your devices! This usually happens for two reasons:
1.Battery is depleted (Low Voltage): Recharge your battery immediately.
2.Overload: The appliance you plugged in requires more power than the inverter can provide (especially motor-driven devices). Unplug it and restart the inverter.
Q3: Can this run my microwave, air conditioner, or coffee maker?
A: No. Appliances that generate heat or contain heavy motors (Inductive Loads) require massive startup power and a Pure Sine Wave to operate safely. For these heavy-duty appliances, please explore our Grennova Nova Series (Pure Sine Wave) inverters.
Q4: Why did it spark when I connected the clips to the battery?
A: A small spark when the terminal connects to the battery is a normal and safe physical reaction. It is simply the internal heavy-duty capacitors charging up.
Q5: Can I connect this inverter to the solar controller's "Load" port?
A: NEVER! The inverter draws massive current and will instantly burn out your solar charge controller. Always connect the inverter's cables DIRECTLY to your battery's positive and negative terminals.
